In this edition:

  • Syscoin comes to life and realises a 100% gain in less than a month, with one of InCrypto’s clients making £7,300 profit from the movement. This was traded (by me) according to a set of rules published in my new book, which can be applied to any crypto project or investment.

  • The UK Government is beginning a consultation to regulate crypto to incentivise the rest of the financial industry and provide tax breaks to some investors. When this happens, your IFA, pension and employer will all be encouraged to offer access and investments in the crypto market.

  • Bitcoin and the broader market corrects (as predicted and published in CO#001). A trading recommendation is made for tomorrow’s US CPI announcement.

  • DFI dips to $0.55, with profits taken at $0.63 - a strong buy.

  • The Index Fund hedge drops lower than 70% - a buy. Find out how much of your capital you should have deployed in the market and my next target to sell.

  • Find out which six projects are poised to move first in the Token Focus.

Syscoin

This week, I sold a syscoin masternode at $0.22, purchased at $0.1340. The masternode required 100,000 tokens, turning an investment of $13,400 into $22,000 in a little over four weeks.

If you have yet to read my whitepaper on Syscoin, you could be forgiven for wondering why this particular token has ascended so much during Janurary, effectively posting a 125% return in the past four weeks.

I was fortunate to secure five masternodes for investors below $0.15 (with one slightly above), all of which are now in a healthy profit.

Below $0.15, Syscoin was incredibly oversold - more so than many other tokens - it is still 85% below its all-time high, even with the recent bullish movement. If anything, it was a screaming buy below $0.15.

If it is ever below $0.15 again, and you are interested in owning a masternode - you could make investments which are a lot worse than Syscoin. This project has been in development since 2014 and has an almost guaranteed valuation above $1 in the future (its current all-time high is $1.30).

If I am so bullish on this particular crypto project, did I recommend selling at $0.22? This specific investor had two syscoin masternodes, so was able to take profit and still have exposure to any further potential upside.

Having multiple masternode exposure in this way enables more flexibility at a later stage, making the decision to exit a masternode easier if the investment becomes profitable.

The good news is that Syscoin should retrace to $0.15 or even $0.13 again (unlikely), giving investors one final opportunity to buy the ‘bottom’ before moving to $0.3265 (I’d expect Bitcoin to climb to $29k alongside it).

The investor who profited from Syscoin invested in another DefiChain masternode (which, having dropped $0.10 since my last update, is looking like the next major masternode to begin a dramatic price increase).
